Depending on growth needs or changes in shareholders' decisions, the activities of the administration and finance department may take the form of specific and sometimes delicate actions:
- participation in the business evaluation process to estimate the impact and profitability of the entry of new shareholders and new partners;
- actions to reduce internal conflicts in shareholders' meetings (operating shareholders/capital shareholders/new investors), in defining programs between directors and members of the organizational chart;
- integration with other potential plants/upstream integration of the supply chain
- dialogue with institutional investors for business restructuring
- initiation of negotiations for the sale of equity interests.
In the next five years, market evolution will confirm processes such as:
- business integration/aggregation
- entry of institutional investors/investment funds into SMEs
- reindustrialization actions/sale of unprofitable branches
